Grandparent's Day Celebration!

Today was Grandparent's Day for third grade!  We had such a great time.  Each student had a grandparent, stand in grandparent, or grandparent-like friend to sit with them during the celebration.  Some of the day's activities included grandparent's pinning awards to their shirt, filling out interview questions, discussing their "Marvelous Memories", eating cinnamon rolls, sipping on a cup of coffee and visiting our classroom.  Smiles were everywhere!  What a joy to share this special moment with grandkids and grandparents alike.




I snapped photos of each kid with their guest.  Shhh....these will be mailed to each grandparent! :)

For the students who were absent today they will still be able to send their items to their grandparent.

We had a really great day.  :)
